We are currently seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to support our manufacturing operations on the 1st shift. This is a direct hire position, offering a dynamic work environment where your skills will contribute to the production of industry-leading products.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be an integral part of our assembly line, responsible for assembling parts and components to create finished products according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to understand the specifications of the components and products.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble parts and components with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components and parts during the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify improvements in the assembly process to increase efficiency and quality.
- Keep accurate records of materials used, production output, and inspection results.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product specifications and assembly techniques.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [Specify Weight] pounds.
