The Inspector is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of labels during the rewind process, preparing the final product for shipment, and adhering to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, dexterity, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Rewind rolls of labels to customer-specified sizes based on job tickets.
- Monitor the rewind process using a strobe light to detect defects in the final product.
- Generate and apply core labels to the finished product.
- Pack completed product into boxes (up to 40 lbs), apply job-specific box labels, and prepare and seal boxes for shipping.
- Count and document the final product quantity before packing.
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Must follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity required.
Work Schedule:
- Mon – Fri 7:00 – 3:30
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
