We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator II to join our team on the 1st shift, specifically operating our Autobagger machine. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the Autobagger equipment to ensure efficient production and packaging of products.
Tasks:
- Set up and prepare the Autobagger machine for operation according to production schedules.
- Operate the Autobagger machine to package products in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure smooth production flow.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections on packaged products to maintain high standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve operational issues.
- Document production activities, including machine settings, production counts, and quality checks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably with Autobagger or similar automated packaging machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and production documents.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machine tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate production records.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
Working Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
