The Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of machinery used in the production process. This role involves setting up machines, adjusting settings, performing routine tests, and ensuring that all outputs meet quality standards. The operator will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, maintaining detailed records, and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).
- Test the operation of machines periodically.
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Keep detailed records relating to machine operations and quality issues.
- Maintain activity logs.
Skills
- Proven experience as a machine operator preferred.
- Working knowledge in manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear).
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
Working Hours:
1st shift: 7AM-3PM; Paid Lunch if stay on property 15 minutes;
2nd shift: 3pm-11pm
3rd shift: 11pm-7AM; OT after 8 hours

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
