We are seeking a reliable Shipping Clerk to join our team and ensure that all outbound orders are accurately processed, packaged, and shipped on time. This role is vital in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and delivering quality service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Pick, pack, and label products to fulfill daily orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare packages for safe transport by ensuring proper packing, sealing, and labeling.
- Process eCommerce orders to meet customer shipping requirements and deadlines.
- Manage and log shipping documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate with carriers and utilize shipping software to generate labels and track shipments.
- Keep products, accessories, and packing materials organized and easily accessible.
- Inspect products for quality assurance and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and pallet wrappers.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks and support other team members as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Basic computer skills to use shipping programs and update records.
- Prior experience in shipping or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages over 40 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workspace.
Working Hours: 9a-5.30p (M-F) Possibly OT
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
