Maintenance Manager

Our Maintenance Manager leads an on-site maintenance team and handle overall daily maintenance and upkeep of property grounds, amenities, streets, water recreation maintenance & equipment.

Job Description

• Maintain the safety of the guests and enforce Resort rules at all time
• Must be able to operate light vehicles, commercial mowers and lawn equipment
• Ensure completion of routine maintenance and repairs of vehicles, equipment, golf carts, etc.
• Work in the sun
• Regular Inspection of sites
• Collect and dispose of garbage
• Establish and prioritize daily maintenance work to be completed by team
• Follow-up on work assignments to ensure efficiency and completion of assigned work
• Maintain pool and water areas (skimming, cleaning, applying chemicals, and routine maintenance of pumps and other equipment)
• Moderate to heavy lifting
• Assisting with construction projects
• Perform all duties in a safe manner adhering to all safety procedures and using safety equipment
• Maintain records of types and frequency of service requests
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies; purchase supplies as needed
• Cleaning the grounds and buildings
• Assist with special functions as it pertains to the grounds
• Maintain the safety of the guests and enforce Resort rules at all time
• Engage in all aspects of resort maintenance and repairs of grounds and facilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years in general maintenance role, preferably in a residential housing, campground, or resort environment. Management experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass Drug Test and Background Check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Be a TEAM player and have a great attitude
• Good negotiation skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in general maintenance techniques, operating power tools and repair work
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
• Ability to provide legible written reports
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
• Availability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
