The Real Estate Project Manager will work with the construction team to manage several projects throughout Florida and Michigan. Candidates should have experience in land use approvals, knowledge of civil and architectural design, and construction permitting.
What you’ll be doing:
The Real Estate Project Manager will report directly to the Sr. Director of Real Estate. They will work closely with the project team to ensure timely completion of all phases of site development. Their responsibilities include site feasibility review for potential properties, assistance with property contract negotiations, management of legal and design consultants, representation of El Car Wash at municipal board meetings as required and completing project status reports for communication of prospective and current pipeline. This is a challenging and rewarding position in which the Real Estate Project Manager plays a vital role in the growth and success of our company.
- Plan, execute and manage ground up development projects.
- Evaluate risks associated with zoning, land use, and title restrictions.
- Coordinate site design process with architects, engineers, car wash equipment providers, and third-party vendors as required to ensure implementation of ECW standards.
- Manage the design, review, and approval process for all development sites with leadership and internal business lines.
- Develop high level project budgets for capital planning.
- Oversee site permitting through completion of building permit.
- Communicate project timelines and status with cross-functional teams, including Construction, Marketing, IT, and Operations.
- Maintain Smartsheet’s specific project plans to provide visibility and companywide reporting on overall real estate pipeline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
- 5 years of land entitlement and project management experience.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, Smartsheet’s preferred.
- Must be able to read zoning ordinances, civil plans, and architectural drawings.
- Excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced/entrepreneurial environment
