What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian part-time position at El Centro Family Health?
This is a part-time job (10 hour per week), Monday through Friday 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Custodian maintains the workplace by providing a safe and comfortable environment of care by performing routine janitorial services and/or minor repairs of the assigned location.
The Custodians primary job is to keep the office and clinic building clean and functioning properly. During a typical day, the custodian's duties may include cleaning windows, bathrooms, walls, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal and upkeep of grounds.
EXPERIENCE:
Six months' experience in custodial work preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1) TST Test
2) Hep B vaccine or waiver
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1) Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
2) Organized and ability to work flexible hours.
3) Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
4) Ability to follow through with directives either orally or in written form.
5) Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with dignity, calm, accuracy, and confidentiality in all contacts with patients, staff, and other health professionals.
6) Demonstrates ability to work well in a team environment.
7) Ability and knowledge of general cleaning and maintenance.
8) Ability to travel to other ECFH sites as needed or directed.
9) Maintain valid driver's license and clearance for unrestricted automobile insurance coverage pursuant to NM State law.
