POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the Call Center Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service, registering new patients, appointment scheduling and insurance verification. Typical duties include answering multi-line incoming customer calls. Completing registration, scheduling appointments and securing authorization and a physician’s order for scheduled services. Responsibilities emphasize on quality Customer Service. Completes registration for new patients in a timely and accurate manner and adheres to the established registration and scheduling protocols and standards. Ensures that patients have secured authorization, physician order, and referrals when scheduling appointments.

- Medical Terminology (Preferred)
- On the job or equivalent training in admitting or call center procedures
- Ability to handle multi-line incoming customer calls, schedule appointments, and perform registration
