POSITION SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians and other allied health care professionals with procedures on adults and children such as, preparing medical records, urinalysis testing, etc. Performs front office duties (patient checks in/out) as assigned. Verifies insurance information, answering telephones, scheduling appointments and typing.

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state. Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Clerical and clinical proficiency or show proof of equivalent qualifications
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant course
- Certification of competency (Indication training was completed for Ten (10) clock hours of training in administering injections and performing skin tests)
- Speak, Read, Write English
