POSITION SUMMARY:
Scribes are unlicensed personnel whose primary role consists of entering information into the electronic medical record (EMR) or chart at the direction of the physician. Scribes do not act independently or participate in patient care, for their duties are purely clerical in nature.
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state. - High School Diploma
- Six (6) months experience in medical related field
- Medical Terminology Course
- Successful passing of ECRMC Qualified Interpreter Test
