American Health Services/ Eldorado Community Services Centers is a certified, COA accredited substance abuse and addiction clinic that specializes in narcotic and opiate addiction with 20 locations throughout California and Texas.
We are seeking a SUD counselor, who meets California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs certification requirements at our Inglewood location, early morning shift, Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30pm.
Requirements:
- A SUD counselor candidate must be certified or Registered with CADTP or CCAPP per California DHCS regulations.
- Preference will be given to SUD counselors who have experience with medication assisted treatments used in addiction treatment programs.
Duties:
- A SUD counselor has the overall responsibility for counseling and oversight of assigned patients.
- A SUD counselor provides individual and/or group counseling for addiction and completes comprehensive assessments, interpretive summary and individualized addiction treatment plans.
- A SUD counselor maintains the client records and adheres to all State, Federal, Accreditation and Program regulations and performs duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Clinic Manager.

This position requires that applicants be Certified Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor: Must be certified by one of the agencies accredited by the NCCA and recognized by DHCS, which include CADTP and CCAPP; and who must adhere to all requirements of the California Code of Regulations, Title 9, Chapter 8 and Title 9.
- At least 2 years or equivalent clinical experience or training necessary to provide counseling services to our patient population.
- Maintain compliance with the requirements for continuing education hours and/or units (CEH or CEU) as determined by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and/or other regulatory agencies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
