El Futuro is currently hiring a full-time Bilingual Community Mental Health Program Manager to lead the implementation and ongoing operations of the Mentes Fuertes (Strong Minds, Strong Communities) Program, which provides vital mental health support to the Latino community across multiple counties in North Carolina through the expertise of trained Community Mental Health Workers. The ideal candidate has experience managing programs, supervising staff, fostering relationships, managing budgets and deliverables, and representing programs effectively to funders and community stakeholders.
This position works a regular schedule of 37.5 hours per week; in-person, based out of either the Durham or Siler City clinic and travels one time per week to program sites in Durham, Wake, Orange, Harnett, or Johnston County; with occasional travel to Mecklenburg or Cumberland Counties, and surrounding areas. Schedule includes flexibility to work evenings and weekends. There is the possibility of occasional remote work. Must be available for Friday morning meetings 9 : 00-11 : 00am (mostly virtual).
The annual salary for this position starts at $60,000.00, based on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Community Mental Health Program Manager performs a wide range of functions including, but not limited to the following :
Program Management Functions :
- Manage the Mentes Fuertes program, ensure alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and community needs.
- Oversee program deliverables, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes.
- Prepare and manage program budgets, ensure compliance with funder requirements and organizational policies.
- Represent El Futuro and the Mentes Fuertes program at funder meetings, stakeholder events, and community engagement events.
- Coordinate weekly site visits to program locations, ensuring consistent engagement and support for field staff.
- Host and facilitate meetings with funders, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
