Position Purpose: The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supporting the team in making sure the restaurant and banquet operations run smoothly by supporting a culture of service within the team for the front of house in. The F&B Supervisor is an essential support to the Front of House team in creating unforgettable dining experiences for guests. This role is also on occasion asked to perform duties wherever needed alongside additional management responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Banquet/Restaurant Servers, Banquet/Restaurant Bartenders, Host, Busser, Expo.
Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Works directly under the Food and Beverage Director/F&B Manager.
- Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests.
- Maintain a proper flow of service and FOH staffing levels during shifts.
- Support the F&B Director in recruiting, training, assigning work, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Oversee activities of restaurant and banquet staff to expedite customer orders as needed, per company standards and policies.
- Maintain strong focus on the guest experience and base all of your decision making around making our guests happy, especially when resolving complaints.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situations.
- Uphold company food safety, food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.
- Ensure the profitability of the food and beverage department increases while maintaining a high level of service.
- Passionately deliver refined, seamless service.
- Assist staff on the floor by floating where needed.
- Complete any manager approved adjustments or posting for staff when needed. Complete paperwork for night audit and accounting after the shift ends.
- Answer menu questions, and offer recommendations to guests to create a memorable dining experience.
- Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- This position requires duties in restaurant, bar, and banquet departments when needed.
- Assist in banquet events set up and full execution of events.
- Ensure that all areas of banquets, bar, and restaurant are organized and clean at all times.
- Assist Executive Chef/Sous Chef on tasks needed to be completed for our outlets.
- Any additional duties that are delegated by the F&B Director/F&B Manager.

Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
- Fully open schedule availability to meet the needs of the property.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training. A post-high school degree, Hospitality preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of food & beverage supervision/lead or equivalent combination of education and experience; luxury branded hospitality experience required.
- Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification, and Alcohol Server Certification.
- Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30 pounds frequently.
- Ability to seek and capture clientele through new ideas or opportunities.
- Optimistic personality to ensure the high level of culture and comfortable experiences.
Salary : $17 - $20
