Main Objective

Ensure El Rey USA Meats & Seafood warehouse operations are performed efficiently and effectively.

Specific Functions of the Position

Verify the quantity and quality of delivered products, comparing them to corresponding shipping documentation, such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping waybills.
Check the goods received to detect any damage, defect or discrepancy with respect to what was requested. If necessary, document any problems found and notify the relevant areas for resolution.
Record the receipt of merchandise in the inventory and warehouse management systems of El Rey Usa Meats & Seafood INC. This may include entering information about the quantity received, lot numbers, expiration dates, among other relevant details.
Labels received merchandise according to established warehouse procedures. This may include applying identification tags, barcodes, or other information necessary for inventory tracking and management.
Classify and organize products in the warehouse according to type, size or any other relevant criteria. This may involve using labeling and location systems to facilitate product retrieval when necessary.
Informs relevant departments of the arrival of new merchandise and any issues or discrepancies identified during the receiving process.
Perform storage and loading, executing storage and loading activities to ensure deadlines are met and operational efficiency is maximized.
It helps and supports all activities of accurate inventories of all stored products, as well as managing the receipts and exits of goods.
Organize the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring it is done safely and efficiently.
Ensure products are stored and handled in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
Collaborate closely with other departments, such as sales, purchasing and transportation, to ensure efficient supply chain management.
Prepare orders for shipment, which may include packaging products, labeling boxes, and preparing necessary shipping documentation.
Perform periodic inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy in the warehouse. This may include the use of barcode scanning systems or computerized inventory management systems.
Maintain work area clean and orderly, and ensure aisles are clear to facilitate the safe movement of goods and access to stored products.
Assist in loading and unloading merchandise, either using material handling equipment such as forklifts or manually.
Follow established safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and other warehouse employees.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
