- Assist in prep and bake of all pastry, bread, and dessert production and plating at Hotel El Roblar
- Assist in oversight of pastry team's production quality, quantity, and efficiency
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- Assist in ensuring the pastry team maintains clean hygiene and clean work habits
- Assist in training and development of new pastry department employees, fostering a culture of growth, teamwork, and excellence
- Assist in managing inventory levels
- Strong knowledge of pastry and bread preparation methods, including laminated doughs and sourdough breads
- Proficiency in baking techniques and pastry production
- Minimum 2 years experience in pastry production
- Able to transport heavy items to the workstations
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to work in close environments
- Able to effectively use kitchen tools, including knives and other kitchen equipment safely
- Able to work with all food ingredients
- Able to work independently or as a team
- Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
