Event Server
Job Overview:
We are seeking friendly and professional Event Servers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for providing outstanding dining experiences for our guests. You will assist in the set-up, service, and breakdown of our EFF Evening banquet events, ensuring all guests receive top-notch service.
Responsibilities:
- Report to your assigned Event Service Captain for details and instructions on all tasks.
- Set up event space according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settings. Help with organizing bar stations, buffet stations or food displays.
- Ensure the event space is clean and properly set up before guests arrive.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in an efficient, timely, professional and manner.
- Ensure guests’ needs are met promptly and courteously throughout the event.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the event space areas.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure proper timing and quality of food service.
- Communicate special guest requests or dietary needs to the Event Captain.
- Breakdown and clean up event spaces after the event.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food or banquet service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate to heavy items including service trays, tables and chairs.
- Flexible schedule. All Evening events take place on Friday and Saturdays.
Physical Requirements:
- Extensive walking and lifting of small to large trays carrying service and glassware.
- Requires the ability to speak audibly and listen actively.
- Requires the ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist with event space set-up (e.g., moving chairs and tables)
- must be available to work our Evening Events May - October. All Evening events take place on Fridays and Saturdays and last into the evening.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $25 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position works all Evening events between May - October. All Evening events take place on Friday and Saturday.
