Direct Supervisor: Administrator
Summary of Duties:
- Actively manages accounts payable for Eldercare of Bemidji.
- Manage petty cash and reconciliation.
- Process paperwork and related documentation to payroll, learn and become primary payroll coordinator and processor.
- Works with employees on payroll questions and assists them
- Other necessary accounting duties and processes.
- Follows policies and procedures related to business office and finance.
- Answers phones, as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in bookkeeping
- Experience with accounts payable and payroll preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills necessary as well as working knowledge of computer systems and accounting/ finance software.
- Analyze and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Desire to learn and grow.
- Must be highly ethical with a high level of integrity; self-motivated; dependable and reliable; detailed oriented; able to interface easily with staff, other senior management personnel and funding sources.
Hours of Work: Monday- Friday, 8:00-4:30. Hours may vary depending on needs of the department.
