Office Nurse

Seeking an LPN or RN to join our office team in Columbus! Full-time salaried position. partially in the office assisting with nurse and HHA skills check and TB's and partially in the field providing client care in their home. Benefits package including paid vacation, PTO 401K with company match and profit sharing - paid out quarterly.

Office Duties:

• Conduct skill Competency checks on Home Health Aide staff
• Proctor Home Health Aide written exam
• Administer and read TB tests
• Administer and read drug tests
• Provide remedial training to direct care staff

Field Nursing Duties

• Performs ongoing client assessments to ensure effective and appropriate home care services, including OASIS data collection where indicated.
• Considers the physical, psychological, and socioeconomic needs of the client, the level of family acceptance, and the ability for client needs to be met in the home.
• Collaborates with physicians, other health care professionals (therapists, social services, pastoral care, supportive services), clients, and families in developing a comprehensive, coordinated plan for care.
• Identifies and assesses overt and subtle signs of impending physiologic and psychological changes. Makes recommendations reflecting consideration of immediate and long-range effects (frequency of visits, components of care plan, additional services).
• Confers with the clinical manager on a regular basis.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety infection control practices by compliance with policies and procedures. Assesses safety of environment and takes initiative to prevent accidents and promote safety.
• Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN or RN license
• Strong patient assessment and care skills
• Experience in home health, long-term care, or assisted living settings a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
