We are currently hiring for a Nutrition Program Coordinator – Martha’s Vineyard. As a Nutrition Program Coordinator in Martha’s Vineyard, you will provide assessments to all Nutrition consumers to ascertain eligibility for Home Delivered Meals program; function as the Nutrition Site Coordinator in the Title IIIC Senior Nutrition Programs, and ensure efficiency and productivity in the achievement of the Senior Nutrition Program’s mission and goals. Monday- Friday, 8-4, 34 hours/ week plus unpaid one hour lunch each day.
What do you need to be considered for this position?
- Excellent computer skills required.
- Ability to work with diverse populations including consumers, volunteers, and outside agencies.
- Ability to recruit, organize and train volunteers.
- Ability to work independently and professionally.
- Valid MA driver’s license and car required.
- High School Diploma
- Associate’s degree in nutrition or related field preferred but not required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Must be able to go up and down stairs.
- Travel throughout service area. Occasional off-Island travel.
