Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of two residential properties within a New Haven HUB. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure tenant satisfaction, property maintenance, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties
- Manage property leasing activities, including upselling available units to prospective tenants.
- Provide outstanding customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee the maintenance and facilities management of the properties to ensure they are well-kept and compliant with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant leases, payments, and other legal administrative tasks.
- Utilize property management software for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), DOH, or HUD regulations where applicable.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants while retaining current residents.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong skills in upselling and property leasing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to property management.
- Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
- Knowledge of LIHTC regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in facilities management is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
