Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter Coordinator/Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the growth of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner with various departments. As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in building a high-performing team that aligns with our company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified CDL drivers and support staff
- Manage the full recruitment cycle — from job posting and lead generation to interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and social media platforms
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and offer strategic guidance
- Conduct screening interviews, evaluate applicants, and maintain notes and records in TenStreet/TMS Platform
- Extend offers and coordinate onboarding in collaboration with HR and operations
- Utilize social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, etc) to market job openings and engage potential candidates
- Track and report recruiting metrics and performance indicators weekly
- Maintain accurate, organized candidate pipelines and ensure timely follow-up
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience recruiting in transportation/logistics or a high-volume environment preferred
- Proficiency in TenStreet, HireRight, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with sales-style recruiting or persuasive communication techniques
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience using social media marketing or recruitment ads (really, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is a plus
