Technical Operations Lead for Satellite Services

Job Description

Eleccion, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support current operations.

Responsibilities

• Support to Current Operations:
• Monitor the status and availability of satellite services.
• Distribute documentation from satellite service providers.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Actively assist with transitioning to automated web-based workflows.
• Transfer knowledge to team members.
• Coordinate with Users to Manage Satellite Services:
• Coordinate requests for activation and deactivation of satellite services.
• Maintain an inventory of satellite user services.
• Develop and maintain financial records.
• Respond to inquiries from users.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for activation and deactivation of satellite services.
• Coordinate with Satellite Service Providers:
• Initiate activation and deactivation of satellite services.
• Notify users when activation and deactivation of services has been completed.
• Analyze the current inventory of satellite services with service providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience.
• Successful experience applying system engineering or project management principles.
• Experience maintaining large, complex equipment inventories.
• Knowledge of satellite communications.
• Experience with engineering support in satellite communications.
• A track record of facilitating cooperation between multiple levels of the customer and multiple organizations.
• Experience performing analysis and studies.
• Experience participating in technical reviews.
• Ability to assist with implementing new tools and work processes.
• Experience with operational support centers.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Eleccion, LLC provides a competitive, comprehensive benefits package for all employees.
