We are currently seeking Electric Motor Mechanics.
Job Description:
- Disassembly and reassembly of motors, pumps, and generators up to 12,000 HP.
- Troubleshoot oil leaks, vibration problems, etc.
- Perform test runs on rebuilt motors.
- Miscellaneous mechanical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience disassembling, troubleshooting, and reassembling motors, pumps, and generators.
- Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
- Must provide own tools (testing equipment is provided by the company).
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be physically able to safely operate equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing/stooping/kneeling for long periods of time.
- We are a service industry on call to our customers 24/7/365. To meet our customer's needs, employees must be able to work overtime as needed, including extended hours outside of assigned shift. This also includes weekends/holidays.
