Director of Electrical Engineering

My client is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead and manage electrical design projects for educational and government facilities. This role involves overseeing a team of engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality project execution, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with NEC and other relevant codes.
Oversee power, lighting, and low-voltage systems design.
Provide technical guidance, quality control, and department standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions.
Manage construction administration, including RFIs and change orders.
Support business development efforts and client engagement.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE required.

10 years of experience in electrical engineering and project management.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and technology systems design (RCDD preferred).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
