What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a full-time Field Operations Assistant who has a passion for service and can assist int he overall management and organization of the EPS warehouse.
Major Expectations & Accountabilities
- Works side-by-side with the EPS Field Operations Coordinator assisting with the daily functions and work assignments within the EPS warehouse.
- Assists in the tracking and maintenance of EPS vehicles, tools, and other specialized equipment.
- Helps ensure the readiness of each EPS asset by helping inspect and maintain all equipment, lifts, tools and helps make sure each asset is ready for use by the field at all times.
- Assists in the data entry for the tracking of Hilti Tools and schedules repairs or replacement as required.
- Assists in the periodic inventory of tools, equipment, and life cycle of materials and equipment.
- Delivers materials, equipment and specialty tools to the field as requested.
- Assists at times on jobsites as additional labor when requested and fully understands confined space hazards and the proper wear of PPE equipment.
- Responsible for the pickup and coordination of disposal of recyclable materials.
- Accepts daily deliveries within the warehouse with shipping vendors and notifies assigned recipients of the arrival of orders and materials.
- Duties and responsibilities include operating equipment, greasing, lubricating and performing daily maintenance on equipment.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL Class A License preferred.
- Basic understanding of working in a warehouse and general construction.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Will need to be able to see and identify colors.
- Outstanding customer service skills and possesses a keen sense for detail.
- Ability to have good foresight to help anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible and the ability to react and provide assistance as needed.
Qualifications Set You Apart
- Proficiency in operating equipment, rigging, and pulling and backing trailers.
- Class A License with a clean driving record.
- Warehouse and forklift experience.
- OSHA 10 and first aid certifications.

Compensation Range for a OSP Construction Laborer/Operator
- Starting compensation is based on your relevant job experience
- This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime compensation
- The pay range for this role is between $25 to $35 per hour
Physical Requirements/Essential Functions
- Be able to give and receive detailed information through verbal and written communication.
- Operate motor vehicles, driving to and from work sites, corporate offices, and vendor locations.
- Sufficient vision to read instructions, blueprints, documents, etc., as well as to drive in daylight and at night and to avoid hazards on the job site. Must be able to distinguish colors in order to identify wiring color codes.
- Apply extensive physical mobility (manual dexterity, reaching, bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, arm and leg extension) to supervise and perform routine activities including the ability to climb stairs and ladders, run conduit, etc.
- Possess extensive arm and hand mobility and strength to lift, hold, reach, carry, push and pull commonly used materials. Able to use power and hand tools on construction site. Able to move tools and materials into and out of vehicles.
- Regularly lift and move 20 - 35 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 to 100 pounds.
- Walk over uneven terrain, over debris and other obstacles.
- Regularly withstand Minnesota hot and cold weather conditions to perform outdoor responsibilities.
