One of Florida's premier electrical contractors is looking for Electricians/Low Voltage Technicians with fiber optic experience (installation, splicing, troubleshooting, etc). Competitive wages plus benefits.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining low voltage systems including fiber optic cabling, networking equipment, and other electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in fiber optics, network design, and installation techniques. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
- Install and maintain network and fiber optic cabling
- Troubleshoot and repair low voltage equipment and systems
- Assist in network design and installation
- Work with a team of low voltage technicians to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Provide training and technical support to other team members as needed
- FOA (or similar) certification highly preferred
- Conduit bending experience is a bonus
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance
- Experience in fiber optic cabling and networking
- Proficient in network design and installation techniques
- Knowledge of electrical safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
