ASSEMBLERS ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn the skills necessary to manufacture custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies
- Cutting wire to length
- Tinning wire
- Use soldering iron
- Crimping equipment and techniques
- Light electromechanical assembly
- Perform other duties as requested or required
Physical:
- Lift up to 30 pounds of bins with component
- Manual dexterity to use hand tools
- A combination of sitting and standing for the entire shift
- Walk to obtain parts
Mental:
- Concentrate to produce quality assemblies
Visual:
- Read work instructions and blueprints
- Use a computer when required
- Eye hand coordination while assembling parts
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Working environment is a clean manufacturing area with little noise or unpleasant conditions
- Position uses lead solde
- Exposed to heat from soldering iron
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $21.10 per hour
