All about the role :
As a key member of the Learning Center of Excellence (LCOE), the Technical Trainer plays a crucial role in equipping both new and current Technicians with the essential skills needed to perform their job safely and effectively. This is achieved through a combination of classroom instruction, work simulations, and hands-on training.
What you'll do :
As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering initial technical training to new technicians and managing the Technical Training Labs. Your role will ensure that new technicians acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs effectively. Additionally, you will provide ongoing technical education to all technicians in areas such as Robotics, PLC, Troubleshooting, and Autonomous Maintenance. If you are passionate about teaching and possess excellent communication skills, initiative, organization, adaptability, and the ability to motivate others, this position is perfect for you.
In detail, you will :
- Design and deliver classroom and hands-on training experiences for technical competencies.
- Operate and maintain the Technical Training area and equipment, such as : robots, training modules and stations.
- Develop and maintain technical training library material throughout the LMS.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, tests, and feedback, and make necessary improvements.
- Participate in new technology installation and training to develop initiatives to ensure technicians receive the most up to date and relevant training available.
- Develop and conduct technical onboarding classes for new hires.
- Conduct the On-the-Job Trainings (OJT) verification and report the results.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in terms of training related to technicians.
- Keep detailed records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
