Janitor & Landscaper

Cannon Automotive Solutions, Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Janitor/Landscaper in our Cleveland, TN stamping facility. The Janitor/Landscaper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior janitorial and landscape experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

·         Under general supervision, performs routine and preventive maintenance cleaning duties 

·         Cleans washrooms, changes garbage cans, mops, and sweeps the floor

·         Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas  

·         Collects and disposes garbage/waste to the proper disposal bins   

·         Complete non-routine/emergency cleaning for aisle, facility, and press clean-ups

·         Mow lawns, trim hedges, and maintain outdoor areas.

·         Remove weeds, debris, and litter from parking lots, walkways, and grounds.

·         Maintain and repair outdoor structures, such as benches and fences.

·         Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.

·         Maintains a safe and clean work area

·         Maintains the cleanliness on the outside of the facility (parking lot, windows, etc.)   

·         Maintains the employee walkways during winter season (snow shoveling and salting)

·         Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Previous janitorial or landscape experience

·         Ability to operate cleaning and landscaping equipment safely

·         Willingness to work in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent preferred
