We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialists to play a crucial role in fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency while driving positive change and enhancing overall business performance. The CIS will report to the Director of Operations. You will work with manufacturing management and personnel to implement lean manufacturing methodologies to improve production efficiencies, quality, and throughout. You will support investigations into non-conformances and develop corrective and preventive actions. Evaluate and improve flow of materials and personnel through the manufacturing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with management and production staff implement lean manufacturing methodologies to improve production efficiencies, quality, and throughput.
- Focus on quality and develop strategies to reduce human error non-conformances.
- Performs time studies and workflow analysis for production
- Implements and maintains processes that sustain continuous improvement gains
- Use current KPI's and create new metrics to drive behavior and efficiency.
- Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and equipment.
- Resolve production issues on the floor in real-time with a focus on preventing recurrence.
- Improve business and manufacturing processes by reducing waste and simplifying workflows.
- Recommend and coordinate cost-saving initiatives based on in-depth analysis.
- Propose improvements and appropriate changes to management

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or related field
- Experience identifying manufacturing opportunities, developing value-add solutions, and challenging the status quo.
- 3 years manufacturing environment.
- 3 years continuous improvement/ manufacturing/process engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Ability to climb, bend and crouch.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
