Installation Technician
Responsibilities:
Travel to customer sites to install equipment and potentially run and terminate low voltage cabling.
Tier 2 Technician:
Experienced/Trained in any/all of the following:
- PBX (preferably Mitel)
- CCTV (preferably Alibi and Verkada)
- Door Access (preferably Paxton)
- Cell Booster (preferably Surecall)
- Sound
- A/V
- Low Voltage Cabling
Position Details:
- Full-Time
- Vehicle and travel expenses paid by the company
- Health Insurance provided by employer for the employee
- Retirement plan with a 3% match available
- Office hours M-F 8AM-4:30PM - Start/end time dependent on project
- Office located in Erie, PA but customer sites located all over the U.S. and Canada
- Paid Time Off offered by employer
- Pay dependent on experience/training
Qualifications:
- Must be able to drive a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to travel for extended periods of time (1-2 weeks at a time)
- Must be willing to travel out of the area and be gone for multiple weeknights, typically home on weekends
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to use basic tools (hand tools, drills, etc.)
- Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Must pass a drug test and clearances
