Job Overview
The Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly and handling of customer products within a fast paced and team-based environment. The Assembly Technician will reference EDM provided technical instructions along with customer provided documentation to deliver quality Printed Circuit Board Assemblies to our customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform manual assembly tasks in a production environment
- Perform required work in an efficient manner to meet estimated labor time standards
- Read and follow assembly instructions, EDM processes, and/or customer specifications
- Use hand tools, measuring devices, soldering irons, and other equipment as required
- Maintain clean and safe working environment in accordance with EDM policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a focus on quality
- Ability to work standing or sitting for extended periods
- Manual dexterity as it pertains to the use of various hand tools
- Willingness to be cross trained as required
- Ability to work alone and in a collaborative team environment
- Clear and effective communication (verbal and written)
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Windows or Google Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
