Job Overview
We are seeking a trainee PLC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for learning to read instrumentation drawings like cable schedule, P&ID, C&E, drawings, develop and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in an industrial setting.
Duties
- Conduct full panel testing.
- Conduct FAT in front of the client.
- Perform field service on PLC systems.
- Learn to read panel drawings.
- Utilize industrial electrician skills to diagnose and repair PLC issues
- Work with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) teams to ensure seamless operation of PLCs.
- Conduct vision inspection system setup and maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs using tools
- Apply militarise techniques to secure PLC systems
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to support PLC operations
- Interpret and follow schematics for PLC installations and repairs
- Detect and resolve issues in PLC programming
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
