What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Electronic Recyclers International?
Shift: 4:00am-12:30pm
Minimum Requirements: 2-3 years of warehouse management experience
Job Summary:
The Production Manager will work with other key members of facility management to assure production goals are met among Operations department including disassembling CPU’s, CRT’s, LCD’s, DLP, sorting e-waste, or reuse and recycle (R&R).
In addition, the Production Manager will lead assigned personnel in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organized workplace to achieve maximum efficiency and minimize injuries.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:

Lead Operations management personnel in properly receivingmaterial within assigned areas.
Ensures repairs and maintenance of equipment or machinery within Operations are scheduled
Reviews production and quality reports to plan/modify activities.
Ensures personnel are wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and properly dressed for job duties.
Ensures inventory of necessary tools and supplies are being monitored for production such as boxes and hammers.
Notify EH&S of any safety concerns and violations, PPE defects or need for replacement of safety equipment.
Ensures personnel are properly trained in completing job duties.
Helps ensures maximum inventory accuracy and efficiency to ensure production goals are achieved.
Responsible for achieving optimum labor, and least amount of overhead and material costs within Operations.
Help coordinate work schedules based on demands set forth.
Ensures inventory and functions at the facility are operating at levelsthat meet customers' needs.
Ensures standards for quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained for maximum production within Operations.
Ensures fixed assets are preserved within Operations.
Monitors, and reports on operating costs within Operations.
Informs management on labor issues including safety, security,employee relations, scheduling, training, etc. within Operations.
Help manage Operations budget and expenses,effectively.
Communicate policy and program changes to assignedpersonnel.
Helps review and approve time cards of assignedpersonnel
Help in conducting ongoing training and re-training ofpersonnel on ERI procedures, policies, and plans.
Assist team in end of the month inventory counts
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relations with personnel.
Ensure assigned personnel are in cohesion on reaching assigned goals.
Help Loss Prevention maintains security measures throughout the assigned areas related to sensitive information and theft.
Help manage and reach labor and revenue targets
Ensure various compliance-based checklist are being completed and issues being reported to adhere to all certification standards and regulations
Ensure housekeeping around area to maintain safety and cleanliness
Report any ideas for efficiency and continuous improvement to facility leadership.
Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations andstandards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
