The Opportunity
H-Wave is seeking an Authorizations Representative who has a background in customer service. This person is proactive, thinks ahead, is driven, reacts quickly, and has a demonstrated history of persistence in influencing others.
A day in the life of an H-Wave Authorization Representative consists of seeking and obtaining authorizations while educating and building relationships with Insurance Adjusters and Nurse Case Managers.

The Job
- Contact Insurance Adjusters and Nurse Case Managers (Payors) to request authorization for prescribed treatment
- Educate adjusters and Nurse Case Managers on the benefits and programs
- Identify proactive approaches (this could be through patient or attorney contact) to determine patient eligibility and advocate on the patient’s behalf
- Delivers excellent customer service and meets the needs of all our customers while executing high volumes of calls
- Maintains knowledge of medical and legal terminology applicable to vertical markets for worker’s comp and auto claims authorizations
- Develops and cultivates strong relationships internally and externally

Requirements
- One or more years of customer service experience, medical industry experience is a plus
- Excellent writing and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with web applications and databases
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle pressure
Salary : $21 - $26
