The Position:
We are looking for a Contract Specialist located at our head office in Orlando, who reports directly to the Group General Counsel.
In this role you will support in the review and management of contractual documents for the Electrosonic team. You will analyze proposals, agreements, and other documents to determine reasonableness of terms in alignment with Electrosonic's standards. You will support in the execution of Design, Systems Integration and Service through the management of client contracts, contractor agreements and support of Purchasing team activities.
What you will be doing?

Draft, review and edit agreements (including: sales agreements, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, certificates of insurance, etc.).

Develop and maintain comprehensive contract filing system and computer database, ensuring all records are complete and up to date.

Provide administrative support to the Global legal and Compliance Team (including: electronic filing and scanning, conducting legal research, etc.)

Coordinate with other departments as necessary in the preparation of responses to customer initiated contractual correspondence, and maintain close professional interface with other staff.

Engage in correspondence and communications with customers and suppliers in order to facilitate the agreement of contractual documentation.

Obtain and issue Certificate of Insurance to Electrosonic clients.

Review & analyze RFPs for contract risk.

Ensure contractual language complies with all company and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate and document the contract/program closure process.

Assist with the creation of company forms such as Subcontract Agreements, Standard Terms and Conditions, NDA, Change Directives, etc.

Undertake training to Project staff in the proper use of company forms and outside communication.

Review the terms and conditions on POs from Purchasing.

Perform other duties as directed by the immediate manager.

What qualifications are required?

AA degree with emphasis in business or liberal arts or commensurate experience.

2-7 years of experience in a professional role requiring strong analytic and organizational skills and careful attention to detail

Basic understanding of legal terms and conditions, paralegal background preferred

Proficient with computers and standard office programs (e.g. Windows, Excel, Word).

Proven problem-solving skills

Experience drafting, revising and negotiating agreements
