Education
- Have a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in Business Assurance
- Certification in one of the following Analyst, Computer Systems (Junior), Quality Assurance, Quality Analyst, Project Management, Information Technology
- At least (3) years BA IT experience in working with Maryland State agencies. (i.e., designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining)
- Exposure to tools like JIRA, TFS, DevOps, Confluence, or Trello for managing requirements and tasks.
- Technical business analyst experiences managing several projects simultaneously. Understanding of how databases work and basic querying skills, Webservices or API works and basic
- Familiar with data analysis tools like SQL, Excel (advanced functions), or basic visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficient in using Excel for data analysis, Word for documentation, and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies through training or certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Experience in managing and execution of multiple related operational requests / projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- Experience in Service Now is a plus.
- Knowledge of State Government policies and practices.
- Knowledge of Payment Portal implementation with FMIS Integration
