What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telecommunications Technician I position at Elegant Enterprise-Wide Solutions, Inc.?
Duties, Scope of Work, and/or Milestones:
- Schedule is 30 – 40 hours per week and flexible
- Provide regular status updates and reports to team members and leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to assist with telecommunication needs
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination between departments and vendors.
- Provide hands-on guidance during future testing and training.
- Address and technical or process-related roadblocks promptly.
- Monitor performance, address post-launch issues, and ensure adoption. Telecom Expense Management (TEM) & Invoice Processing
- Works as a team member to implement new technology and to assist in projects to automate and improve existing processes.
- Principles and practices of auditing financial documents, contracts, invoices, payments and related financial records.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
- Billing reports
- Mobile device activations including troubleshooting.
- ServiceNow ticket management
- Redundant Telecom activities such as MACDs like resetting PINs and passwords, changing call forwarding settings, creating simultaneous rings, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Equivalent to two (2) years of college level course work in information systems, business administration or a related field or,
- Associate’s degree and equivalent experience working onsite with government agencies.
- Hands-on experience developing both technical and user-friendly communications

- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar workflow management tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Microsoft Teams
- Must be able to pass a stringent criminal background check (process may take up to six weeks).
