Business Intelligence Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Technical Qualifications:

• At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Power BI to write complex DAX calculations, develop interactive dashboards, and implement best practices for data visualization.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in writing complex SQL queries, SQL performance turning, creating E-R diagrams, and designing efficient data models for large-scale Data Warehouse systems.
• At least five (5) years of programming experience in Python, Java, or R for data processing, automation, and working with large datasets.
• At least three (3) years of experience in Amazon Redshift or Snowflake for scalable BI solutions
• At least two (2) year hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini), Auto-ML tools, or NLP for generative AI use cases, predictive analysis, or data forecasting.

Desirable Technical Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of providing enterprise level data architecture and/or data modeling services at a public sector entity such as local, State or Federal agency.
• Hands-on experience in developing ETL pipelines with AWS ETL tools such as AWS Glue, AWS Step functions, and AWS Crawlers.
• AWS professional certifications.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields from an accredited or government-sanctioned college/university.
