Job Title: Warehouse Shipping Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Shipping Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including packing, shipping, and handling both domestic and international orders. This role requires working with multiple carriers such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping: Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Packing: Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate packing materials.
• Carrier Management: Work with FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• International Shipping: Prepare necessary documentation for international shipments, including customs forms.
• Order Organization: Organize and prioritize orders to ensure efficient completion and timely delivery.
• Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to learn shipping software and carrier systems (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Details:

• Warehouse experience preferred, but not necessary

• Standard Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Must be able to reliably commute to Plainville, CT
