We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Field Operations to join our team

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of design solutions.
• Manage the technicians effectively.
• Tightly monitor the quality of work.
• Seek upsell opportunities and either handle them personally or involve Vlad.
• Handle job scheduling.
• Manage the Project Coordinator and ensure their proactive handling of material sourcing and job site delivery.
• Submit regular activity and status reports to Vlad.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend them to Vlad.
• Demonstrate a "customer satisfaction is top priority" mindset so that technicians embrace this as part of the company culture.
• Determine the job skills required for each project and decide whether to use in-house staff or subcontractors, then manage the subcontractors.
• Oversee the permitting process, managed by the Project Coordinator.
• Support the Field Manager (Sam) as needed.
• Discuss potential growth strategies, including new markets and services, with Vlad.
• Oversee the technician hiring process to find highly qualified candidates who fit the Element culture.
• Manage job changes internally (with technicians and designers) and with customers to minimize disruption.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the home construction and remodeling industry, including 5 years as a Field Manager.
• Demonstrated expertise in hiring and building a motivated team.
• Basic understanding of most, if not all, technical skills associated with home remodeling (carpentry, plumbing, trim, cabinetry, flooring, build-out, etc.).
• Familiarity with various business software applications (office-related and project management).
• Personal time management efficiency.
• Skilled in cost management, including budget monitoring.
• Comfortable handling all aspects of client relationships, including problem resolution and upselling.
  
  

Salary And Benefits

• $75 - $90K (salary bonus - 80/20 split % of salary vs. bonus).
