The Hotel Maintenance Manager’s responsibilities include managing maintenance staff, coordinating with hotel management, prioritizing maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all hotel facilities are in excellent operational condition.

Hotel Maintenance Manager
Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens, tennis courts)
Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
Plan, schedule and coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for repairs and updates
Track maintenance and repair work to ensure the timely completion of all projects
Respond to guests’ maintenance requests promptly and ensure their satisfaction
Monitor and manage the hotel’s energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures
Recruit, train and supervise maintenance team members
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Prepare and manage maintenance budgets
Keep a record of all inspections, maintenance, and repair work
Without assistance, carry, place, move, or lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds; with assistance for items beyond 25 pounds.
