Property Manager

Role Description

Element Property Management is hiring a full-time Property Manager in Apex, NC. We are looking for an energetic individual with a passion for problem solving, customer service, and an interest in residential real estate. No two days look the same in property management, so adaptability, a positive attitude, and comfort within a dynamic environment are a must. Whether you have years of experience or are just beginning your career, these core values will be valued above all else.

The work structure is hybrid, with 3 mandatory in-office days per week, as well as work-from-home flexibility. The property manager will spend significant time driving between properties in the Triangle area, regardless of the in-office or work from home schedule.

The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations of assigned properties, including but not limited to leasing, managing tenant relations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, property inspections, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements and regulations. The property manager should be prepared to engage with, improve, and maintain compliance with internal systems and processes.

• Monday - Friday
• On Call
• Weekends as Needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Property management experience preferred
• Single-family property management experience will be valued
• NC Real Estate License or willingness to obtain one (Please provide your active NC Real Estate license number if applicable)
• Reliable transportation in and around the Triangle area and an active NC drivers license

Soft Skills

• Property management, leasing, and tenant relations skills
• Maintenance coordination and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Property Management software (Specifically Buildium) will be valued
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
• Knowledge of local real estate market trends
• Excellent time management skills
