This position will be responsible for providing and maintaining technical health and safety support to production and administrative personnel. The following will also be required :
- Development of all plant health and safety programs and their objectives.
- Coordination of health and safety training programs.
- Monitoring Federal and State regulations to ensure compliance, while ensuring that all federal, state, and Exide policies and regulations pertaining to industrial hygiene (i.e. personal protective equipment, sanitary facilities, emergency equipment, air quality, etc.) are met.
Qualified candidates must be a self-starter with proven leadership and communication skills and will possess the ability to work with individuals from varied backgrounds, skills, and education levels to complete projects in an efficient and organized manner.
