Job Summary:
Receive and directs visitor, employment applicants, salespersons and customers to appropriate locations and parties; operate a single or multiple position telephone system; maintain a visitors' log and issues badges when necessary; notify personnel of visitor arrival; may perform related clerical work such as word processing.
Job Duties:
- Greets guests and keep a visitors' log.
- Notifies personnel of visitor arrival.
- Answer main company switch line.
- Additional duties may include filing, sorting, mail distribution and completing special clerical projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good understanding of office/clerical processes and procedures
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Receptionist or Customer Service Rep.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- MS Office Skills
- Previous experience working in a lab desired
