Job Summary
Our Assemblers learn to put together mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic products. These range from relatively simple devices to complex units being shipped to leading manufacturing facilities worldwide. Working both in teams and individually, the successful individual will have experience with box builds including wiring, terminating and mechanical skills and apply those skills to increasingly complex devices as they gain experience. Organization, neatness and attention to detail are requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, calibrate and test electromechanical boxes; wiring, terminating
- Assist the repair department with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic and electronic components
- Reconfigure and build custom mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components from stocked inventory parts to fill customer orders
- Build and maintain environment within ESD parameters
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure the timely completion of control boxes and electronics needs
- Assembly of shafts and bladder assemblies
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and manufacturers' manuals (or similar documents), and work with sketches and verbal instructions in circuit wiring, and relay logic.
- Ability to assemble and perform basic troubleshooting on electrical panels from wiring / circuit diagrams with or without step-by-step work instructions.
- Ability to complete mechanical assemblies from subcomponents and finished assembly blueprints with or without step-by-step work instructions.
- Comfortable with hand tools and light power tools.
- Willingness to learn and cross train in other areas
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- General computer skills required
- Willingness and ability to work overtime when required
- Familiarity with lean is a plus
Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- 5 Years of experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
