Responsibilities
- Operate stamping presses and milling machines according to established procedures.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments, including micrometers, to ensure precision in machining tasks.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to meet specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and address any operational issues.
- Assist in the setup and adjustment of machinery as needed, following safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
- Document production data accurately, including measurements and quality checks.
Skills
- Familiarity with stamping press operations is preferred.
- Basic understanding of CAD software (SolidWorks experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring devices for machining tasks.
- Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure product standards are met.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and production data.
- Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC machines is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the manufacturing environment.
