Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain various machines and equipment used in the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to following safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machines such as CNC, lathes, milling machines, and other production equipment.
- Follow machine operation instructions, including setup, calibration, and maintenance procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting, reporting any malfunctions to senior operators or maintenance personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper tool and equipment storage.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Record production data, including quantities, downtime, and machine performance, in daily logs.
- Assist in inventory control, managing materials and supplies for the production process.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus, but not required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery is preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and operate machines according to specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to lift up to [X] pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with work hours as needed.
Working Conditions:
