Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of production processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate extrusion machinery to produce plastic components according to specifications.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product dimensions meet quality standards.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading raw materials using forklifts.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Extrusion Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC machines, logic controllers, and plastics injection molding is advantageous.
- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
