Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating injection molding machines. This role is crucial for ensuring the production of high-quality molded parts while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and minor repairs to maintain optimal operation.
- Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices aimed at improving efficiency and reducing waste.
- Utilize CNC machinery and other tools, such as lathe and press brake machines, for secondary operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document production data accurately and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Injection Mold Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and the ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in a production setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations is a plus but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
